hello.
happy birthday dad. we had kfc this time. i managed to throw a fit big enough to dodge an arrow of cooking the family a big meal and... still have some ammo left to sweet talk my mom into getting me a new phone. wahoo!

hiding behind that emotionless face, i think dad was having a lot of fun spending time with his family. he is not with us much because of his work and when he is at home, he runs to the room with mom and watch tv. my father always tried his best to provide for us. fetches us to school (and camp), spontaneously giving us cash, buying whatever we want (as long as we sweet talk with him enough) and buying the forgettables like contact lens solution and mouthwash.

not much of a hoo-haa about dad's celebration tonight. just the same old frentic screaming and laughing. we just did what we normally did - dad sitting in his corner, mom and sisters run around teasing dad and asking him to do 'cute things' and me sitting in another corner watching it all happen. mom wore the checkered shirt gladys bought online when she saw dad wearing my checkered shirt. took a few photos, laughed a lot, ate chicken and dad got caked in the face.

it is always times like these where i remember the goodness of God and how much He restored in my family. and after restoring us, He blessed us with Jolin, and lots and lots of jokes and laughter. it is nice to enjoy the company of crazy wacked out hyper-active sisters (and mom) any time. i am happy their main target is always silent dad and that they don't bug me in their madness.

we took a bunch of embarrassing videos. i'll put them in my comp soon. ask me to show you when you see me. alright, time to sleep early. another day of atcem tomorrow. :)
